About me
Hey there!
My name is Christoph, and I'm an agricultural economist.
I'm building farm-scale models and data-science tools at the
University of Bonn.
On this site I blog about my adventures in the broader field of
agricultural sciences and (research) software development.
Most of the topics I enjoy working with involve some kind of data visualisation,
websites and web-programming, algebraic modeling or a combination of these.
I'm a JavaScript / Node.js enthusiast, which is my go-to language for most
of my projects.
When writing algebraic models, I'm a huge fan of
GAMS, for which I build an integrated development environment (more on that
here).
In my spare time, I like to tinker with the
Fruchtfolge and
other software projects,
go rowing, and help out on the family farm.
If you like to get in touch you can find me on
Or contact me via E-Mail.
